GLM - Waste Commercialization

During the course of its activities, GLM Srl has been in contact with several different companies in this sector, with whom it has established professional relationships in the spirit of collaboration and transparency, giving shape to a top-level technical-legal expertise and expanding the scope of its business to the national level.
The company is currently engaged in providing trade intermediary services in the waste management sector (for which it is regularly registered in category 8) thanks to agreements with dumps, waste treatment and composting plants; all these agreements are made available after exhaustive controls, thus also supplying environmental consulting services.
For all these reasons, GLM srl is able to provide accurate and competent disposal/recovery management of the following categories of waste:
Special non-hazardous waste
Special hazardous waste
Inert waste
Both waste disposal plants and companies in charge of transporting waste are selected according to a strict and thorough qualification process assessing service providers. The waste route is monitored until it reaches the final disposal site, thus ensuring compliance with all the processes foreseen by the legislation in force and by our environment management system summarised in the following six main stages:
INSPECTION: Visual inspection of waste, its quantity and characteristics; control of the production process that has generated the waste; sampling and chemical analysis (if available).
CHECK: Analysis of possible producer requirements with respect to waste management (eg. AIA); control of waste chemical analysis and accuracy of limit parameters according to destination; control of correct waste classification (CER code).
SOLUTIONS: Identification of final destination (recovery or disposal?); control of availability at the storage plant of GLM / associated plants and plants authorized to treat waste / possible research for new plants; assessment of transportation possibilities (authorisation and cost checks); possible research for new transport operators.
ECONOMIC STAGE: Drafting an offer for the customer. Acceptance and opening of the order; request to destination facility to type-approve waste.
INFORMATIVE STAGE: Delivery to customer of the required forms, the authorization for the destination facility and for the transport operator. Instructions for the customer regarding how to fill in the form.
FINAL STAGE: Support during all management stages until waste arrives at the destination facility, delivery of a copy of the form, issue of invoices.
